Monthly Leaderboard Reset & League Scoring
To keep things exciting and give all players a fair shot at winning, each month begins with a clean slate for the monthly leaderboard. Here's how it works:
- Monthly Reset: At the start of each new month, player points reset to zero for the monthly race. The top 2 performers at the end of the month win cash prizes:
- 1st Place (Monthly) - $100
- 2nd Place (Monthly) - $50
- Consistent Play Matters: Even though monthly points reset, your total points across all 16 weeks are still tracked on the Overall League Leaderboard.
- League Championship: At the end of the 4-month season, the top 4 players on the overall leaderboard will be paid from the grand prize pool.
- Ties: If there is a tie for a monthly prize or for the league champion, a playoff match will be required to determine the winner.

Format Details & How Handicaps Are Used:
- Stroke Play (Net):
Traditional total strokes played across 18 holes. Players subtract their course handicap from their gross score to get their net score. Lowest net score wins the match.
- Match Play (Net):
Each hole is scored individually. The player with the lower net score per hole wins that hole. Handicaps are distributed hole-by-hole based on stroke index. Example: A player with a 9 handicap gets 1 stroke on the 9 hardest holes.
- Stableford Points (Net):
Points are awarded based on net score per hole:
- Net Eagle = 5 pts
- Net Birdie = 4 pts
- Net Par = 3 pts
- Net Bogey = 2 pts
- Net Double Bogey or worse = 1 pt
Most total points win.
- Players Choice (Net):
Players agree before the match which format they want to use from the available options. No matter the style, net scoring must be used.
- Championship Match (Net):
Admin decides the format based on league standings or voting. Net scoring still applies. Only used in the event of a tie in points at the end of the league.
